Youth’s death in accident triggers protest
4 hurt as police uses force to disperse protesters

A 22-year-old youth was killed when a speeding truck ran him down on the Ferozepur road here today. This triggered protest by commuters, which resulted in a mild cane charge by the police to disperse the protesters, causing minor injuries to four persons.

Punjab riders won the overall championship in the last edition of this meet held in Jaipur.
