Book released: Forest and Labour Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani, SSP Faridkot, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Fazilka ADC Charandev Singh Maan, District Education Officers Sandeep Dhuria and Lachhman Ram Kamboj released the book “Secret of Health, Beauty and Happy Life” authored by Ashwani Ahuja, principal of Government Model School of village Korianwali. The programme was organised in Fazilka on Saturday night under the banner of the Press Council, Fazilka.

Woman killed: A woman was killed while her daughter sustained serious injuries when they were reportedly hit by a speeding truck while crossing a road here last night. The deceased has been identified as Sushma Jasola.
