Woman’s body found

The body of a woman, identified as Mamta (33), was found on the roadside at Kanwa village here today. The deceased, a mother of two daughters and two sons, had been missing for the past two days from her house. DSP Narinder Bedi said the deceased had some injury marks on the body. Her husband and other family members had filed no report of her missing.

The body of a woman, identified as Mamta (33), was found on the roadside at Kanwa village here today. The deceased, a mother of two daughters and two sons, had been missing for the past two days from her house. DSP Narinder Bedi said the deceased had some injury marks on the body.

Her husband and other family members had filed no report of her missing.

He further said the cause of her would be clear only after getting the post-morten examination report. The involvement of her husband Maan Singh in this incident cannot be ruled out, the DSP added.
