Maoists kill three in red corridor of Odisha Malkangiri, Apr 29 (ANI): Maoists killed two persons in two villages in Mathili police jurisdiction of the Maoist-hit Malkangiri district of Odisha. The Assistant Superintendent of Police of Malkangiri, Siva Subramaniam, informed that around thirty to forty Maoists gunned down the villagers and warned that in response to the attacks, combing operations would be intensified in the area.

According to the villagers, there was indiscriminate firing from across the border in the early hours of the morning when most of the children were getting ready or leaving for school and the working members were preparing for the day.
