For the first time after free pricing of motor fuels introduced from June 1, the oil companies today announced a
cut-of-upto 21 paise in retail selling prices of petrol and diesel, reflecting a stable global crude situation.

CIL halts coal supply to PSEB

Creditors seem to have lost patience with the Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB), with Coal India Limited discontinuing the loading of coal to the board's thermal projects from its mines.
According to information available with The Tribune, a letter to this effect has been received by the board.
