74 killed in plane crash
Trabzon, Turkey, May 26
A plane crashed in thick fog today in northwestern Turkey, killing all 62 Spanish soldiers and 12 crew members aboard.
Local officials told Turkish broadcaster NTV there were no survivors and they were extracting bodies from the charred
wreckage, near the Black Sea coastal city of Trabzon.
CM backtracks on casinos

Lakdawala shot in Bangkok
Mumbai, May 26
Thailand-based gangster Ijaz Lakdawala, a former aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and the mastermind behind the extortion racket in the metropolis, has been killed by members of the rival Chhota Shakeel gang in Bangkok, a top officer of the Mumbai Crime Branch-CID confirmed here this evening.
