A day after an embarrassed Congress struggled to respond to the latest WikiLeaks revelations that party general secretary Rahul Gandhi had told the US Ambassador that radicalised Hindu groups were a more serious threat than Pakistan-abetted terror, its leadership is all set to turn the heat on the BJP by accusing the RSS-affiliated organisations of instigating terror activities.

Indians� tolerance for all faiths comes in for praise in US cable

More leaks on Saturday of diplomatic cables from the US Embassy in New Delhi turned out to be music for Indian ears. At least some of it. One of the cables said America can learn a lot from Indians� tolerance for all faiths.

The Pakistan army �paid wages� to terror organisation Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and sustained it, according to a diplomatic cable unveiled by whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

Man held at Mumbai airport
Mumbai, December 18
A man was detained at Mumbai airport today after an anonymous phone caller informed the police in the metropolis that he was allegedly involved in the December 7 Varanasi blast. The anti-terror squad of Mumbai police informed the authorities at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport about the name of the person against whom a call was received, official sources said.
