Demolition drive
: The local Town and Country Planning Department on Wednesday cracked the whip against three colonies at Tilpat village in Faridabad. A demolition squad headed by S Chauhan, District Town Planner (Enforcement), swooped on the village along with police personnel and demolished five fully constructed offices of realtors, two houses under construction and a water purifier plant. He warned the department will come down heavily against illegal colonisation.

Body found  in canal
: The Bahadurgarh police has recovered the badly mutilated body of a youth from a canal near Munda Khera village here on Wednesday. The body has been sent to the PGIMS, Rohtak, for a postmortem examination. The body was spotted floating in the canal by some people in the morning. Pictures of the body have been sent to nearby police stations/posts for identification, said the police

Result declared:
Kurukshetra University on Wednesday declared the result of the MA (final) Mass Communication re-appear examination held in December, 2012. The result is available on website www.result.kuk.ac.in, according to Davender Sachdeva, PRO of the university.
