
Problem of
flooding in city stays
CHANDIGARH,
Aug 3 The problem of flooding in one of
the major flood-prone zones in the city
from Government Press Chowk in Sector 18 to the
N-choe in Sector 51-52 will remain this
year also in case of a heavy rainfall. The reason
the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh is yet to
complete the work on laying of additional drain
pipes with a view to augmenting the existing
storm drainage.
Three held for rape

persons in connection with the the gang rape of a
14-year-old girl at Pinjore on July 17.

Jail, here, has been found to be HIV positive and
following intervention from the court, he has been
