SAS NAGAR, Dec 6 — Standing crops on several acres of land between Kambali and Jagatpura villages was ploughed with tractors by the enforcement staff of the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority in a major operation launched this morning.

CHANDIGARH, Dec 6 — Holding a Sector 18 firm and its two partners guilty of concealing income,the UT Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mr Sant Parkash, has sentenced them to three months' rigorous imprisonment, besides imposing a total fine of Rs 8,000 under the Income Tax Act.
