Intrusion by Pak jets JAMMU, June 1 (PTI) Two Pakistani high-speed surveillance jets flew over the Indian border line in the R.S. Pura area violating the airspace regulations, official sources here today said. The Border Security Force (BSF) guarding the border line, fired from anti-aircraft guns, the sources said. The BSF has also lodged
protest with Pakistani counterpart about the airspace
violation yesterday in the border area, they said. |
Islamabad report on deaths denied NEW DELHI, June 1 The Army today categorically denied a report from Islamabad that some children died in a village across the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir due to Indian firing. "The report is
false and motivated and aimed at maligning the Indian
Army. Our Army, which has been subjected to shelling from
the Pakistan side on the Line of Control responds in a
controlled manner only on military targets," the
Indian Army clarified. |
