this match.

“We respect all teams and don’t underestimate any opposition. We focus on our game. Sudeva is a good side. We know all matches are tough in this league. We want to be competitive in all our matches,” said Fleming.

Meanwhile, defender Saurabh Bhanwala said the side had an encouraging performance against Mohammedan Sporting and they want to keep improving.

“We are looking forward to the game against Sudeva. We are positive and we have been learning from the previous experiences. We are confident,” said defender Bhanwala.

Defender’s contract extended till 2023

The Punjab-based outfit extended the contract of Bikash Yumnam, who has already made headlines globally by being shortlisted among the top 60 young talents in the world by a leading British daily, till the end of 2023. The renewal of the young defender’s contract will no doubt serve to encourage other young talents in the club. Fleming expressed happiness about this move and said Yumnam is a promising young player and I hope he would keep working hard to do justice to his talent.
