A jeweller was injured as a youth allegedly attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon at his shop at Chakka road in Baddi in this district on Friday evening.

The jeweller, whose three fingers were cut off, was taken to a local hospital, where he was referred to a Chandigarh hospital.

Baddi ASP Ashok Verma said the police had nabbed the youth, who hails from Assam.
