“My late father Shrivatsa Sudarshan Gour inspired many people and worked to promote art and culture through the association, All-India Artists Association, founded by him in 1955. He was an amazing theatre artiste. I was blessed and so I went a step ahead and got into TV and films. I did theatre for many years too. Now, it’s my daughters who aspire to get into modelling, dancing and acting,” he says.

On being asked about how they would take things forward as parents for Giti’s future, Rohitashv says, “We want her to take one step at a time. As a father and being in this industry for a few decades, I have seen the struggle that we all have been through. So, I tell her how to prepare before every step. She has to work hard to achieve her goals and dreams. ”
