The appointment letters were issued after successful biometric and document verification earlier this year.
Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao congratulated the newly appointed doctors. She said, “The addition of qualified and dedicated medical officers will not only improve healthcare accessibility in both rural and urban areas but also ease the burden on existing medical staff. This step reflects our government’s commitment towards providing timely, equitable and quality health services to every citizen.”
Rao further said, “This recruitment drive is part of the government’s broader plan to fill long-pending vacancies and to ensure that no primary health centre (PHC), community health centre (CHC) or Civil Hospital operates without adequate medical staff.”
The appointment letters have been sent via email to all Civil Surgeons across the state, where selected candidates can collect those. The postings include placements in District Civil Hospitals (DCHs) located in Narnaul, Ambala City, Bhiwani, Sonepat, Jind, Hisar, Panipat, Karnal, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Charkhi Dadri, Yamunanagar and other areas.
The minister also appreciated the continuous efforts of the Haryana Health Department for ensuring a transparent and efficient appointment process.
Notably, 560 Medical Officers had already been issued appointment letters earlier. Of them, 409 had joined service.
