Kaithal: Around 250 students of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes received their degrees under the Master of Science, Master of Commerce, Master of Arts, Master of Economics, PGDCA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Arts, respectively at the annual convocation of RKSD College, Kaithal. The chief guest of the event was Vikas Gupta. In his welcome address, Principal Sanjay Goyal said, "The strength of this college lies not only in its ability to produce educated minds but also in its ability to bring about positive change." Chairman Ashwani Shorewala, while presenting the citation to Vikas Gupta highlighted the introduction of various courses and programmes by the college. In his address, Vikas Gupta spoke about how educated minds tried to overcome the lack of opportunity that often prevailed in the education system. He encouraged the graduates to actively collaborate with various government departments..

2-day leadership training camp

Yamunanagar: A two-day state-level leadership training camp was held at Guru Nanak Girls College, Yamunanagar, by the department of economics in association with the " MR Pai Foundation" and "The Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai" on October 25-26. The event emphasised on building leadership skills among students through its sessions on goal setting and achieving, sharpening communication skills, unlocking personal potential, decision-making and problem-solving abilities, self-belief and enhancement of teamwork skills. In total 82 students from several colleges participated in the camp. The Director, Dr Varinder Gandhi, and Principal Dr Harvinder Kaur, addressed the valedictory session and honoured the resource persons Rajiv and Sachin Kamath from the 'Forum of Free Enterprise'. The economics faculty, including Babila Chauhan, Shammi Bajaj, Swati Verma, Anuradha Bansal, Jyoti,. Samridhi, Gulnar along with the economics association of the college contributed to the successful completion of the event.
