Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel has said that no compromise will be tolerated with the quality of construction work in any project. He gave directions to blacklist contractors compromising on quality work.

Goel said this while presiding over a meeting of municipal bodies officers from across the state in Chandigarh. Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present in the meeting.

Goel said that there was no shortage of resources or funds and added that no negligence would be tolerated in the matter. He further directed the officers for timely review of work in their districts, and said he would personally inspect each district soon to assess the work being done, he added.

The minister directed officers to relocate the stray cattle to nearby gaushalas.

Goel acknowledged that complaints about sewer overflows had been received from several major cities and directed officers to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
