A man was reportedly tied to a tree and tortured for allegedly teasing a woman at Sundh village in Mewat of Nuh district. The man was hung upside down on the tree and badly tharshed before shaving his head.

The man was accused of teasing the woman and also video-graphing the incident. This led to an uproar in the village and the villagers instead of calling the police called others to punish the “culprit”. However, the man’s acquaintances managed to get him free and took him to hospital. They also contacted the police.

The police have named 10 persons in the FIR and are investigating the incident. According to the FIR, Hashim, a resident of Dalabas village, complained that he was being framed as people, who had tried to rob him, created a fake narrative.
