A blood donation camp was organised at the historic Ridge in Shimla by the District Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Lions Club on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.

The event witnessed the collection of 29 units of blood and was inaugurated by Abhishek Verma, ADC, Shimla. Verma lauded blood donation as a noble act and encouraged all eligible individuals to participate in such life-saving initiatives. Hemant Jokta, secretary of the District Red Cross Society, said the camp was conducted under the guidance of DC Anupam Kashyap.
