The Department of Language and Culture, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the Keekli Charitable Trust, is set to host the third edition of ‘Mimansa Tritiya — Children’s Literature Festival’ from April 18 to 20, at the iconic Gaiety Theatre in Shimla.

Aimed at preserving and promoting the state’s rich literary and cultural heritage, the three-day festival will include a vibrant mix of events to inspire reading, creativity and self-expression among children and young adults.

Renowned mythologist and author Devdutt Pattanaik will grace the closing ceremony as the chief guest, while acclaimed author and illustrator Priya Kuriyan will inaugurate the festival. Celebrated writer and actor Sohaila Kapur will attend as the guest of honour.

A spokesperson from the Language Department said, “The festival offers an open platform for children to engage in book reviews, vocabulary-building games, art workshops and literary competitions.
