HP CM’s helicopter airlifts critically ill woman from remote Kangra area
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu facilitated the swift airlifting of a critically ill woman from Bara Bhangal, a remote area in Kangra district. Nirmla Devi was unable to eat or walk for the past week, prompting urgent intervention.
Upon receiving information from local panchayat representatives about the woman’s deteriorating health on Saturday evening, the district administration informed the state government.
Sukhu directed the dispatch of his helicopter to airlift Nirmali from the challenging terrain of Bada Bhangal to Gaggal Airport on Sunday morning. From there, she was taken to Tanda Medical College for immediate medical attention.
Baijnath MLA Kishori Lal acknowledged the Chief Minister’s quick response.
