Mandi, April 27

Two people were killed in a road accident in Mandi district on Monday when a vehicle hit them on the national highway near the Dadour area in the Balh police station area. The deceased have been identified as Ravi Kumar (25) and Prem Singh (40), both natives of Chalakha village in Mandi. They were walking when a speeding jeep hit them. They were rushed to the Mandi medical college, where doctors declared them brought dead. The police arrested the jeep driver, Vikas, who is a resident of Punjab. Investigation is on.
