Army conducted an anti-drug awareness drive at Chingam village of Kishtwar district on Monday. “With a focus on drug-free environment, the event included insightful sessions and engaging discussions. The event aimed to enlighten the local community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and equip them with knowledge to combat this pressing issue,” said an official spokesperson of the Army.

The event witnessed 64 active participants from Chingam village and nearby areas, demonstrating the commitment to creating a drug-free environment.

“This initiative is a manifestation of the Army’s proactive approach to tackling social issues at grassroots level. By empowering the community at Chingam village, the Army underscores its commitment to holistic well-being and the creation of resilient drug-free societies,” the spokesperson said.
