“I feel more than blessed and grateful to be a part of such a historic show. It’s not just about the dance but also about how these women, with their individual lives, come together through this art form,” she said. She explained that the show holds personal significance for her, as she herself is a Waacker and has been practicing this dance style for over a decade. “The girls in the show are from Kolkata, and so am I in real life. Like Ishani, who is my real-life friend from Waack Girls, we used to do Waacking together back in Kolkata when we were kids.”
