Local MLA Lakhveer Singh Rai today launched a tree plantation drive under the Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Hariyawal Lahar to make the state pollution-free. He planted a sapling at the Municipal Council Complex here to start the campaign.

The MLA said under the green drive, 50,000 saplings would be planted in the constituency in association with the Forest Department, the district administration, NGOs, youth clubs and common people.
