Punjab: LK Yadav is ADGP (Crime)

Chandigarh, July 12

In yet another reshuffle in the Punjab Police, two ADGPs, four IGs and several other officials got fresh posting orders today.

Prominent among them is ADGP LK Yadav, who is heading the SIT looking into the Kotkapura police firing incident of 2015 regarding sacrilege incidents. He has been posted as ADGP (Crime) with the Bureau of Investigation.

ADGP Vibhu Raj has been posted as the ADGP (Lokpal), while the IG-cum-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Arun Pal Singh, has been posted as the IG (Internal Vigilance). His replacement has not been announced. IG (PAP) Jaskaran Singh, who heads the SIT probing Sidhu Moosewala’s case, has been posted as the IG (Ferozepur Range) in addition to IG (PAP), Jalandhar. IG Rakesh Aggarwal is IG (Counter-Intelligence). DIG, Ferozepur, Inderbir Singh has been posted as Joint Director, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur.
