Heard’s lawyer had recently said that she “absolutely” could not afford to pay the money that she owed Depp. After the viral photos, social media users were divided.

As per the Celebrity Net Worth site, the net worth of Heard is somewhere between US$1.5 million and US$ 2.5 million, reported New York Times. Heard’s total income is thus far away from what she owes Depp. After the recent six-week trial in Fairfax County, Virginia, a seven-person jury reached a verdict on June 1 awarded Depp US$ 15 million in damages, but Heard will only have to pay US$ 8.4 million due to a Virginia law limiting punitive damages. In her countersuit, Heard won one of the three defamation counts and was awarded US$ 2 million in damages, as per People magazine.
