UNA, DECEMBER 2

The Amb Sub-Divisional Courts Bar Association in Una boycotted a court today and unanimously passed a resolution, seeking the transfer of the judge.

As per copy of the signed resolution released to the media, president of the association Ravi Prashar said the Bar had passed the resolution following the alleged repeated derogatory remarks being made by the judge against advocates in an open court.

Prashar said the advocates had boycotted the court since November 11 and would also boycott the Lok Adalat scheduled for December 14. He said their association had sent requests to all Bar Associations of the state to support their cause by observing a one-day strike on December 13.
