Interim bail was granted to SAD secretary general Daljit Singh Cheema in a case of the filing of alleged false affidavit before the Gurdwara Election Commission and the ECI and forgery by presenting two different constitutions.

The bail plea was filed in the court of Additional District Judge Sandeep Kumar since the trial court summoned SAD leaders, including the Badal duo, to be present for proceedings on December 20 regarding the complaint filed by veteran socialist leader Balwant Singh Kheda. — OC
