The star cast of ‘Jora: The Second Chapter’ paid a visit to the city on Sunday. The movie will be released on March 6.

Addressing mediapersons at Bathinda Press Club, the makers said the movie was a sequel to ‘Jora 10 Numbaria’.

The film has been produced by Bathinde Wale Bai Films and Loud Roar Films. Written and directed by Amardeep Singh Gill, the story of the film deals with political and administrative units and touches the topic of dark world of crime. It also showcases the nexus of political machinery, bureaucracy and world of crime.

Deep Sidhu as Jora is the lead role while Singga will make a debut in the Punjabi film industry with the movie. Actors Dharmendra, Mahie Gill and Japji Khera are also part of the movie.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
