Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi on Thursday evening on a two-day visit to further expand a nearly eight-decade India-Russia partnership.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a private dinner for Putin this evening to set the tone for the 23rd India-Russia summit talks on Friday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has landed in Delhi.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
