Thirteen boys and one girl, who are students of the Nishan-E-Sikhi Institute of Science and Training, Khadoor Sahib, have cleared the written exam for the National Defence Academy (NDA).

Another girl student, who is undergoing a preparatory course for civil services, has cleared the CDSA exam.

Nishan-e-Sikhi Institute of Science and Training, is run under the patronage of Baba Sewa Singh Padama Shri. All these students would now be appearing for the SSB interview, the next step of the selection process.

Twenty-four students of the institution are serving in the Indian armed forces.

Major General Balwinder Singh (retd), the NDA Wing director of the institute, said a lot of efforts were made to clear the exams. Baba Sewa Singh blessed students and exhorted them to work hard for the interview.
