Returning Officer-cum-SDM Tarn Taran Gurmeet Singh said election symbols had been allotted to all candidates. He announced polling would take place on November 11, while counting of votes would be held on November 14.
The remaining candidates are: Sukhwinder Kaur (Shiromani Akali Dal), Harjit Singh Sandhu (Bharatiya Janata Party), Harmeet Singh Sandhu (Aam Aadmi Party), Karanbir Singh (Congress), Sham Lal Gandhi (Sacho Sach Party), Naib Singh (Nationalist Justice Party) and independent candidates Arun Kumar Khurmi Rajput, Harpal Singh Bhangu, Harbrinder Kaur Usma, Advocate Komalpreet Singh, Jaswant Singh Sohal, Neetu Shutter Wala, Mandeep Singh, Mandeep Singh Khalsa and Vijay Kumar.
Gurmeet Singh said all necessary arrangements were being made to ensure the smooth conduct of the by-election.
