A member of a migrant family died when he was attacked by his neighbour with an iron rod. These families had migrated from Bhadra (Rajasthan) and were residing at Ramdev Colony (Muradpur).

ASI Sukhdev Singh from the local city police said that the deceased has been identified as Sanju (24), son of Jagdish. The police have booked Sanju, his brothers Mirja, Shambhu and Subash of the same locality. Both the sides were involved in a quarrel two days back and the elders of the colony pacified them both. But when the deceased along with his brother Gopi was taking a walk after meals near their colony, the accused attacked them with an iron rod.

As a result, Sanjhu (24) collapsed and was brought to the local Civil Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Police said that a case under Section 103 (1) and 3 (5) of BNS has been registered in this regard. The accused are absconding and the police was conducting raids on their possible hide-outs.
