The boxing team of Khalsa College Senior Secondary School, which is run under the Khalsa College Governing Council, has won in all three categories (under-14, 17 and 19 boys’) at the district level.

The Principal of the institution, Dr Inderjit Singh Gogoani, and Head of School Sports, Rankirat Singh Sandhu, said the district-level school boxing tournament was held at the boxing hall of Khalsa College School for three consecutive days and boxing players from various schools of the district participated in these competitions.

Dr Gogoani said it was a matter of great pride for the school and the council that under the guidance boxing coach Baljinder Singh, the boxing players in the 14, 17 and 19 age groups have maintained the winning streak of the school for the last 25 years.
