They were arrested by the police following information that the trio were involved in brutally slaughtering cows and later selling their meat (beef) in an illegal manner. The informer told that they had killed a cow at their house and were preparing beef.

Immediately, a police led by SI Niresh Kumar raided the spot and arrested the three accused, identified as Nishan Masih, Ajay Masih and Samual Masih.

Niresh said a case under the Cow Slaughter Act was registered against them. He said when the police team reached their house, the accused were preparing beef. He said further investigations were in progress while all the three suspects were arrested.
