A two-day capacity-building programme on accountancy concluded at DAV International School on Saturday.

Neeraj Mohan Puri, principal, Modern Sandeepni School, Pathankot; and Amit Mehra, PGT accountancy, Springdale Senior School, Amritsar, were resource persons. As many as 30 teachers,who teach Classes XI and XII, from different CBSE-affiliated schools attended the programme.

School principal Dr Anjana Gupta expressed her gratitude to the CBSE for providing her school with the opportunity to host the programme.

The resource persons dwelt on various aspects related to accountancy, including difficult areas, developing projects, teaching and learning of accounts, recent developments in accounts, sample question papers, common errors and suggestions.
