307 booths declared sensitive, 245 very sensitive

Of the total 811 booths set up for elections for 85 wards of the Municipal Corporation on December 21, 307 booths have been declared as sensitive and 245 as very sensitive by the district election office.

District Election Officer-cum- Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Paramjit Kaur said a total of 841 booths had been set up in the district for elections of the Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayats and Municipal Councils.

She said 13 booths had been set up in 13 wards of Baba Bakala Sahib. She said five booths were declared sensitive in Baba Bakala. The elections of one booth each in Rayya and Majitha were also being held. Both of these booths were declared sensitive, she added
