To encourage free and fearless conduct of Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections in the district, the police conducted a flag march in Tarn Taran and Bhikhiwind sub-divisions on Wednesday. The march was conducted under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Tarn Taran, Surendra Lamba. Other gazetted officer of the sub-division also participated in the march. Satpal Singh, DSP (NDPS), Tarn Taran and Jagbir Singh, DSP, Bhikhiwind, along with SHOs of Tarn Taran and Bhikiwind sub-divisions, led the flag march.
