The city police claimed to have arrested five individuals linked to notorious gangster Goldy Brar, uncovering a complex web of associates and accomplices. The arrests were made based on a tip-off, and subsequent investigations revealed the gang’s involvement in threatening and demanding ransom from people.

The accused, Harshdeep Singh (20), Gursharanpreet Singh (18), Dharampreet Singh, Manga Singh, and Avtar Singh, were found to be working under the instructions of Goldy Brar and his associates, including Deva and Pritam Singh, who are currently abroad using fake documents.

The police have registered cases against the accused and are conducting further investigations, including raids in Haryana to apprehend additional suspects. DCP (Detective) Harpreet Singh Mander stated that the probe is being carried out thoroughly and technically to dismantle the gang’s network.
