ASI Jatinder Singh, posted with the CIA staff, died as he accidentally fired from his service weapon here on Friday. He died on the spot.

Police officials along with forensic teams immediately rushed to the spot and started a probe.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravinder Pal Singh Sandhu said the body has been sent for a postmortem. As per information, he was cleaning the pistol when it accidentally fired which hit ASI Jatinder Singh killing him on the spot.
