The birth anniversary of Sikh martyr Baba Deep Singh was celebrated with religious fervour as Gurmat programmes and langars were held across the district on Monday.

Devouts paid obeisance at gurdwara Shahid Ganj Baba Deep Singh where bhog of Akhand Path was performed.

Raagi, Kavishari and Dhadhi Jathas rendered Gurbani Kirtan and narrated glorious Sikh history.

Rajinder Singh Sangha of Sewak Jatha Ishnan Amritwela said members of the jatha carried out kar sewa of historic Sikh shrine.
