On the occasion, Raj Chouhan said he had received an invitation from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to attend the 350th centenary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, but due to the ongoing session of the Legislative Assembly, he could not attend at that time. So, he made it a point to visit the holiest Sikh shrine to bow before the Guru Sahib after the conclusion of the Assembly session.
