The Khalra police and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel conducted a joint search operation in the border village of Dall on Thursday night and recovered a drone and a packet containing 496 grams of heroin. Sub-inspector Baljinder Singh, SHO, Khalra police station, informed that he was on routine patrolling along with a police team in the area when he received information regarding drone activity from across the border. The police team accompanied the BSF launched a joint search operation in fields of Dilbag Singh, a farmer of Dall village. The team recovered a drone and a packet. The packet contained 496 grams of heroin and the drone also fell down.

A case was registered at the Khalra police station in this connection.
