The Gharinda police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against them.

In a statement, a BSF spokesman said that at around 7 pm, a BSF ambush party noticed the movements of two suspicious individuals on a bike near the Rajatal border. They were searching for some contraband smuggled from Pakistan. Upon seeing the ambush party, they attempted to flee the spot but were chased by BSF personnel.

“The contraband packet contained the ring which indicates that it was smuggled via drone,” said the BSF.
