In another operation early on Friday morning, BSF personnel detected and recovered one more DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone adjacent to village Kahangarh. During the search, a packet of heroin with a gross weight of 540 grams was also seized from the site.

Security agencies have been on high alert as Pakistan-based smugglers continue to deploy drones to push narcotics, contraband and sophisticated weapons including assault rifles and RPG launchers from across the border into Punjab.
