The Punjab Government has initiated a centralized online admission and counselling procedure for the admission of various law programmes for the academic year 2025-26. Prof Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, has appointed Prof (Dr) Amit Kauts as Coordinator and Prof Pawan Kumar as the Deputy Coordinator to ensure the seamless execution and to oversee the admission process for the BA LLB (Hons.) (five years), BA LLB (five years), LLB (three years), B Com LLB (five years), BCom LLB (Hons.) (five years), and BBA LLB (five years) courses across the state.

These programmes are available at institutions affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Punjabi University, Patiala. Furthermore, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur State University of Law, Tarn Taran, will also participate in the centralized admission process.

GNDU has invited interested candidates to access information regarding eligibility criteria, application procedures, and fee structures on the official website: http://punjablawadmissions.gndu.ac.in. The online application process will commence shortly on the official law admission portal, and all participating institutions are required to submit the necessary pro forma by April 30 through their respective College Development Councils. Students and institutions are advised to frequently monitor the official website for updates and guidelines regarding the admission process and related circulars, as no independent correspondence will be entertained. The online admission portal will soon be accessible.
