Gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa in a voice message sent to chemist Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Naushehra Pannuan, has demanded an extortion amount of ~50 lakh and issued him a warning that if he fails to oblige him, he would be killed.

Bachitter Singh, alias Bikkar, a resident of the same village, was shot dead by two assailants on Thursday. Landa wanted to contact with Sarabjit Singh on his mobile, but he did not respond being a threat call.

Later he received a voice message in which Landa asked him to give him ~50 lakh otherwise he would meet the same fate as that of Bikkar who was killed four days ago. The Sarhali police have registered a case under Sections 308 (4) and 351 (3) of the BNS here on Saturday.
