Welcoming the Minister, Mrs Anjali Singh, Chairperson, CII Northern Region, highlighted, “Punjab is increasingly being recognized as an attractive destination for high-quality investments, and SUJAN’s ₹150 crore investment in the state’s hospitality sector — beginning with Amritsar — is a powerful confirmation of this momentum. This investment not only elevates the premium tourism landscape but also signals a broader shift toward tourism-driven economic growth. With the state government’s focused policy direction and ease of doing business reforms, we are confident that Punjab will witness a significant rise in tourism and related investments.”
