Civil Surgeon Dr Kirandeep Kaur conducted a surprise check at Jallianwala Bagh Martyrs Memorial Civil Hospital here on Wednesday during which she visited various wards and interacted with the patients.
Dr Kirandeep Kaur also asked the patients to list the areas in which the hospital can improve its services to help patients. She also checked the attendance of employees, stock of medicines and quality of services made available to the visitors.

She also issued instructions to the officials to ensure that the hospital area is sanitised and cleaned properly to check the spread of infections. The Civil Surgeon also asked the officials to ensure better waiting areas for the patients and their attendants. Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Rajinder Pal Kaur and other officials were present on the occasion.
